Epoxy MAC100
$507.67

Smith’s Epoxy MAC100 is a solvent free, 2-component 100% solids Osmotic Moisture Vapor / Alkalinity Control Epoxy Primer with high capillary penetration capabilities for absorption into porous substrates at all recommended application temperatures. Epoxy MAC100 suppresses Osmotic moisture vapor transmission levels to an acceptable level (i.e. below 3 lbs. at tested rates up to 25 lbs./14 pH per ASTM F1869 or 100% RH per ASTM F2170) to receive subsequent systems.

For use as a primer prior to all common traditional flooring, cementitious overlay/underlayment and resinous floor coating interior applications.

Bonds to a variety of substrates, including but not limited to properly prepared, well bonded/sound/solid:

  • Concrete

  • Ceramic/Porcelain/Quarry Tile

  • Metal (i.e. Aluminum, Copper, Steel, Zinc, etc.)

Always moisture test to determine proper primer thickness necessary for conditions.

Requires a minimum CSP 3 to properly adhere to concrete with elevated moisture vapor.  Diamond grinding does not exceed CSP 2 and is therefore unacceptable for moisture vapor remediation.

Epoxy UCE201
$244.15

Smith’s Epoxy UCE201 is a decorative 100% solids epoxy used for the body coat of metallic epoxy or mixed with color Quartz aggregate as a mortar for Smith’s Epoxy HDQ-100™ decorative epoxy mortar system. This epoxy yields extended healing & flow properties when used as the epoxy body coat for Smith’s Metallic & Lustersystem to deliver optimal mottling aesthetics superior to traditional epoxy products while offering high clarity & an extended flow time on the floor. Conveniently packaged in either a 3 gallon kit with space in the Part A container for mixing all necessary components in the pail or in larger kits.

Smith’s Epoxy UCE201 is sold as a clear which accepts Smith’s Epoxy U.V. Absorber additive (OPTIONAL – sold separately) to enhance the durability & to extend the service life of the epoxy film by absorbing UVA radiation thus lessening U.V. light degradation (i.e. Yellowing, Chalking, Cracking, etc.).

Metallic body coats can be achieved by adding Smith’s Metallic & Luster (sold separately) to the Part A prior to mixing with Part B for unique metallic epoxy floors. Smith’s Epoxy UCE201 self-heals for up to 60 minutes at 72°F, making it ideal for Metallic & Luster coatings to achieve optimal mottling & a smooth finish for one-of-a-kind floors.

Solid colors can be achieved with the addition of Smith’s ISC Industrial Solid Color Packs (sold separately), allowing the contractor the ability to reduce waste by only pigmenting what is needed for the individual project.
